Last year, we had a great time! Our revival and re-imagining of the Hudson River Greenland Festival was a success. It was great to catch up with old friends after 5 years, and make new ones. Let's reacquaint ourselves with our kayaks, and share our skills with others. Our dates for this year's HRGF are September 5th through the 7th!

Same chef: Meals once again will be provided by our chef Mike Bazinet, from Friday dinner through Sunday lunch. There is a small kitchen for him to work in.
You are the Chef on Thursday: Those arriving on Thursday evening will gather for a pot-luck dinner. We'll bring the charcoal.
No lodge: We will again be renting a "wedding tent" for meals and other gatherings. SSTIKS style, for those who have made that trek.
No cabins: You will need to provide your own sleeping arrangements. There are no cabins at this venue. There are many acres of tent space, and ample parking for campers, but no RV hookups.
Hot water close by: Declan the park manager says that he has the hot water fixed in the showers next to our tent.
No more daily schlep: Canopus Lake is at 914 feet above sea level, there will be no tide. We will be able to leave kayaks on the beach for the entire weekend.
Hudson River paddle: Brian Grahn of Hudson River Expeditions will again lead a Friday paddle in the Hudson River.
Lower attendance: Last year, we had about 45 attendees. We probably can take a few more, but it won’t be the huge numbers of years past. It's a very relaxed scene, in which to learn and share kayaking skills.
Cost: $340 for the weekend. Tee shirt and paddlesports insurance inclusive.
